The Framingham Public Library Foundation is pleased to welcome two new members to its board of directors.
Brett Peruzzi has been a Framingham resident since 1999 and has held several leadership roles in community organizations in that time. He served on the board of directors for The Friends of Saxonville for ten years, working on several key projects in the preservation and recognition of the historic Saxonville mill village. Brett is also one of the founders of Nobscot Neighbors, a community group that has been advocating for the Nobscot area of town for the past three years.
Christine Visminas has been an Episcopal priest for 30 years. Until 1999, she had been part-owner of a company which specialized in stationery and educational materials for churches. As the chief artist and author she spent much of her time in libraries doing research, so she knows the importance of materials that libraries make available. She has also worked part-time for several years as an assistant conservation agent for the Town of Framingham, and for several years she was a Town Meeting member for Precinct 13.
